I am an extremely skilled creative across multiple disciplines with a broad range of knowledge in art, design and business. I am in the strongest position to benefit a company by possessing a Bachelor's degree in fine art and being self-taught in a wide range of business and marketing concepts. Together those skills have allowed me to have success in whatever role I have played either being an employee or running my own studio/ art gallery.
I bring an attitude of productivity and positivity when it comes to my outlook on getting things done and have excellent communication skills, although I do flourish when working independently as well. My belief is that no one person possesses all knowledge, therefore it is perfectly fine to not know something; as long as you know how to find the answer.
Having been in senior leadership positions and a business owner, I am a self-starter and efficient at time management. Extreme confidence is the key to success in a creative role, however, self-awareness and the ability to adapt quickly are the traits needed to balance that confidence. I possess all of these and am ready to dive in for any challenge presented.
I graduated with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in studio art from Burlington College in Burlington, VT. With it being a liberal arts college, my experience there was one of exploration and discovery. My senior-level courses were done through independent study as I was able to craft my own curriculum geared toward my areas of interest in fine art. Those courses focused on art administration among other things, and served as a valuable tool in navigating my career after graduation.
